Re Prostate Cancer Bowls Spectacular (Fourth Annual Event) Held at Houghton Regis Bowls Club on 22nd September 2024
Bowls Season over and I hope you are finding some time to relax??
Apologies for the delay in providing an “up-date” earlier on the above, caused by our move, (as above) just prior to the event itself and the settling in work involved since.
The Event took place and despite the constant threat of rain it did not diminish the enthusiasm, enjoyment and banter to suit the occasion, together with choice of dress, (see attached photo), we were fortunate to complete 15 ends before continuous torrential rain called a halt earlier than planned.
Again, full rinks played throughout, great support and the magnificent sum of £1,596.00 was forwarded to Prostate Cancer UK, making the overall total to date £18,848.27 towards continuous research work.
For those supporting from clubs in the county on the day, can I kindly ask that you bring this to their attention through your usual source.
